Course Overview:
"For Trainers" is a high-quality training program, designed by the Phenikaa Semiconductor Training Center, focuses on essential, highly applicable knowledge and skills to meet the urgent needs of the modern semiconductor industry. With the curriculum transferred from Synopsys—world's leading EDA company—the For Trainers course will enhance participants' professional capabilities and expand career opportunities in IC Design.

Train a team of "trainers" with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge to teach IC Design courses at the undergraduate level.

Equip engineers with fundamental theoretical knowledge and practical skills in IC Design.
Training Pathway
The For Trainer course at Phenikaa Semiconductor Design Center is systematically designed in a two-level pathway, guiding learners step-by-step to conquer in-depth knowledge and skills in this field.
Level 1 (12 weeks in Vietnam): Building a solid foundation:
- Complete at least 4 modules: Learners will be equipped with fundamental knowledge about the critical stages in the chip development process.
- Enhance teaching abilities: After completing Level 1, learners will have the ability to train and guide basic practical exercises in Semiconductor IC Design for students.
Level 2 (10 weeks intensive in Taiwan and PSTC): The intensive training program in Taiwan and PSTC will help learners:
- Understand and practice all stages of the chip development process, from architecture to verification.
- Enhance advanced practical skills on the latest EDA tools.
- Elevate teaching abilities: After completing Level 2, learners will have the full capacity to train and guide advanced practical exercises in Semiconductor IC Design for students, meeting the high demands of the labor market.
Eligibility: Learners must complete Level 1 with excellent results.
Course Content: 8 core modules with 30 subjects
Training Duration: 5,5 Months
Note: Students can choose some modules from these modules. PSTC can design a separate program, optimized for the needs of each business based on the framework program shown here.

Eligible Learners
Students, Lecturers and experienced professionals/engineers in engineering fields who want to supplement their knowledge and skills in IC design:
Specialized in STEM fields (Electrical/Electronics, Computer and Information Technology, Communications, Materials, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Control and Automation, Automotive, Cryptography, etc.).
Programming skills: at least one programming language (Verilog/VHDL, C/C++, Python, Script (Perl/TCL),…)
Language requirements: English 4 skills (Listening, speaking, reading, writing)
Priority will be given to candidates whose research or projects have interesting/creative/complex designs.
